Founder Edmund W. Sinnott
Chicago Sun-Times, 1984

The taking of depositions and the recording of trials by video-tape was created by one of Chicago's foremost trial counsel, Edmund W. Sinnott of the legal firm Pope, Ballard, Kennedy, Shepard, and Fowle. Mr. Sinnott had wide experience in a large variety litigation. His practical trial experience enabled him to create a practical, usable, economical system for video taping trials and pre-trial testimony which was then displayed to all courtroom participants; the judge, witnesses, and trial counsel.

"Guarantee" your key witness will be present for trial.
The demeanor of the witness is all but lost at the trial if the witness is not available, and it becomes necessary to resort to the transcript of a deposition. Reading the transcript to the court or jury is frequently tiring and dull, and the full impact of witness testimony is lost.
